Vibe Product Warranty

At Vibe Kayaks, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our kayaks. That's why we offer a comprehensive warranty policy to protect your investment. Here's what you need to know:

Kayak warranty:

All hard-shell kayaks purchased from Vibe Kayaks come with a lifetime warranty on the hull. Inflatable kayaks purchased from Vibe Kayaks have a 2-year warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect product performance. Vibe is not responsible for damage to persons or property caused by unsecured Vibe products during transport or use, and this warranty does not cover such incidents.

This warranty does not cover damages that may result from:

  • damage caused by normal wear and tear
  • Misuse, negligence or accidents
  • Modifications made to the kayak
  • Roll or hang the kayak
  • Heat, extreme weather or environmental conditions
  • Excessive sun exposure
  • Unauthorized modification or repair, including the removal of the center console
  • Accident, negligence, improper use or handling
  • Improper storage, maintenance, or upkeep
  • Use in commercial, rental, or educational environments
  • Sharp objects or dragging on rough surfaces
  • Towing by motorboats or sailboats
  • Culvert trolleys, stakes or other objects placed in culvert holes
  • Cosmetic defects such as surface pitting, color variations, or small weld marks

To claim under this warranty, the customer must provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the problem encountered with the kayak. Vibe Kayaks will review the claim and contact the customer within 3 to 5 business days of receiving it. If the problem is found to be a manufacturing defect, Vibe Kayaks will repair or replace the kayak at no cost to the customer. If you are within 160 km of an authorized dealer and your kayak requires repair, you will be asked to bring your kayak to the dealer for repair. If a replacement kayak is no longer available, Vibe Kayaks will replace it with a comparable product.

Damage caused during shipping is not covered by this warranty. It is the customer's responsibility to check that the kayak is not damaged before accepting delivery. For more information on our shipping damage policy, CLICK HERE .

Accessories Warranty:

All accessories purchased from Vibe Kayaks come with a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, accidents, or modifications made to the accessory.

Protection against accidental spills (optional):

Vibe Kayaks has partnered with Extend to offer Accidental Product Protection on select products for an additional fee. This protection covers accidental damage such as punctures, cracks, and other damage not covered by the standard warranty. Coverage begins on day 1. Exclusions and limitations:

This warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by third-party products or services.

This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the kayak or accessory.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

For online transactions, we accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Cash is also accepted in our store.

After receiving your return, please allow our warehouse team to inspect and restock it.

Once this process is complete, we will issue your refund, which typically takes 2 to 4 business days to appear in your account (depending on your bank). We appreciate your patience!

Please include your order number and we will try to cancel your order before it is processed. Just because you haven't received a tracking number doesn't mean the order hasn't been processed. There is a short 24-hour cancellation window, so if you need to cancel, be sure to request it immediately.

Delivery time ranges depend on the type of product you ordered, your location and the shipping carrier.

Kayaks are oversized items requiring special handling and delivery services and take longer to deliver than standard packaged items.
