The result of an intense collaboration and over a year of R&D and design, the BlackPak Pro is fully riggable and features a hinged lid, a 25% weight reduction, and top-tier features.
The improvements include many of the things you've come to expect, as well as some brand-loyal features that no one saw coming.
Size and Weight
The BLP-PRO-13X16 measures 13" x 16" x 13" (L,W,H) and weighs 7.6 lbs without TetherTubes and 9.2 lbs with the four included TetherTubes.
The BlackPak Pro is also available in two other sizes, 13"x13" and 16"x16".
Construction and Assembly
Injection-molded from UV-stabilized polymers, the BlackPak Pro will last for many years, even in harsh marine environments.
The ultra-rigid panels use a rib structure that provides exceptional stiffness with minimal weight, while their interlocking joints ensure an intuitive, frustration-free assembly process.
The interlocking GridLoc panels use a tongue-and-groove edge design for easy assembly.
Simply press them together (they won't fall apart during assembly) and install the stainless steel screws (included) using a simple screwdriver.
Hinged Lid
The water-shedding lid with fully adjustable hinges allows you to switch from free-swinging to a stiff setting that holds the lid's position when you let go, while built-in over-travel stops keep the lid within reach and limit it to a manageable angle.
Sound-dampening rubber bumpers ensure quiet lid closure, and the unique CatchLatch retention system secures the lid in a simple yet surprisingly functional way.
Rod Holders
The four included TetherTube rod holders with integrated yet easily removable hook-and-tether systems ensure your rods stay in place if things go wrong.
The caged attachment points on both sides of the tube provide multiple hook points, and the oversized hook design is sized to attach directly to your fishing rod's handle if desired.
The TetherTube rod holder mounts to the GridLoc panels using at least three of the four attachment pads, allowing for multiple vertical positioning options.
Mount them high for long-butt rods, or mount them low to elevate the BlackPak Pro into a HighNDry position.
Tankwell Security
Rubber feet provide dampening and sound insulation, while the Omni corner brackets allow for multiple tie-down methods.
They are designed as attachment points for YakAttack OmniHooks (four of which are included), generic hooks, carabiners, or simple bungee cords.
Storage
Optimized for a wide variety of tackle boxes, including Plano 3700, Plano Edge, Bass Mafia Bait Coffin, Flambeau, and many others.
Riggability
The key to customizing and accessorizing the BlackPak Pro lies in the revolutionary 2D GridLoc mounting system, which offers a plethora of attachment points inside and outside the panels.
This gives our design team a platform for which they can design a myriad of dividers, mounts, and other attachments.
