The TowNStow Scupper kayak cart is designed for use exclusively with kayaks that are reinforced and designed to work with scupper carts such as Hobie®.

The TowNStow Scupper kayak cart takes what you think a scupper cart should do and turns it upside down.

This cart is foldable, user-friendly, adjustable, robust, and features additional front and rear hull support.

By pressing a button or turning a knob, the TowNStow Scupper can be assembled, adjusted, or folded in seconds.

Made in the USA to a quality standard you expect from YakAttack; the TowNStow Scupper is built from high-quality, UV-resistant injection-molded polymers and anodized aluminum tubing and assembled with stainless steel hardware.

Designed to withstand years of use in harsh outdoor and marine environments, this product is backed by our Built for Life guarantee.

The TowNStow Scupper is designed for transport over long distances at walking speeds.

It is not designed to be towed by other means, including motor vehicles, ATVs, bicycles, or any method exceeding 5 miles per hour.

Adjustments

The classic scupper cart features a pair of posts and bunks that support the weight of the kayak right at the scupper hole.

The trend of larger, heavier sit-on-top fishing kayaks is not going anywhere soon and creates the need for the old-school scupper cart to be upgraded.

The TowNStow Scupper has four firm yet flexible round rubber bunk pads in an orientation that provides additional support to the front and rear of the hull.

The bunk pads conform to the shape of the hull, keeping the scupper post in place and preventing the post from wobbling while in the scupper.

To accommodate as many kayaks as possible and to help with any scupper width variations, the bunks are infinitely adjustable from 5.5" to 14.5" wide.

This feature differs from the TowNStow BarCart and Bunkster as they have predefined bunk width slots.

Storage

Many anglers have set up their kayaks at the boat ramp parking lot and then transported them to the water's edge, but taking it back to their vehicle is not always an option.

This leaves your kayak and gear unattended and susceptible to theft.

The TowNStow Scupper was designed to be completely disassembled without the need for tools.

Everything can be removed from the aluminum axle in just seconds, and in the collapsed state, the cart can be stored in most kayak hatches.

Scupper Barb

Traditionally, a scupper cart featured a locking device at the end of the scupper post, like a cotter pin, to lock the cart in place once the post has been inserted into the kayak's scupper.

For heavier and wider kayaks such as a Hobie Pro Angler, this can be cumbersome, so to simplify the process, we have added a one-way Scupper Barb.

The feature will come into play for those who transport their kayaks in the back of a truck bed.

With the Scupper Barb deployed, you can insert the Scupper Post into the kayak's scupper holes while the kayak is still in the truck bed extending past the tailgate.

Once the Scupper Barbs have passed through the hull, they will lock in place, preventing the cart from falling to the ground.

This feature makes unloading and loading much easier.

Please note that this feature is intended solely for loading and unloading and is not intended to keep your cart hanging in this orientation during vehicle transit.

Wheels

The included wheels are a 3-piece BeadLoc wheel design with a durable and grippy rubber tread.

These tires are airless and designed for use on hard surfaces.

The strap loops integrated into the wheel hubs can be used if you are traveling over rough terrain.

These tie-down points are designed to be used with 1" flat webbing cam straps (not included).

The wheels snap on easily and are removed by pushing a button.

Kickstand

The TowNStow Scupper comes with two kickstands.

For loading heavier kayaks such as a Pro Angler or Outback, turning the kayak on its side is the traditional method of attaching a scupper cart, but for lighter Hobie kayaks like the Lynx, most people could load the kayak while the cart is standing upright with the use of the kickstands.

For the widest range of width adjustment, the kickstands are designed to be assembled facing the center of the axle.

When not in use, the kickstands snap into an upright, locked-out-of-the-way position.
